Student 2-in-1 Laptop Bundle
Presentation Thurles has selected the company Olive for Education to supply student devices.
Why do students need devices?
Digital projects are now part of the Leaving Certificate assessment process for many Leaving Cert subjects. These projects are worth 40% of the exam result.
Students will require a laptop to acquire the digital skills necessary to complete these projects.
Students also require devices to complete CBA’s for Junior cycle and use online resources eg Studyclix.
What device is provided to the students?
It is an Asus 2-in-1 Laptop, created specifically for use in education.
The laptop is designed with students in mind and offers both laptop and tablet functionality, with a full keyboard, digital pen, and a responsive touchscreen
It comes with 128GB of Storage, 8GB of RAM and a 12.2 Inch screen.
What services are included?
The device will be set up with our school’ s specified software and applications.
A filter is added to prevent against dangerous or inappropriate software or apps in order to provide a safe and secure environment
The Bundle includes an extended 5 Year Warranty & 5 Year Accidental Damage Cover.
We also provide dedicated online, email and phone support for all parents and students.
What are the costs and payment options?
The bundle cost is €733 (2-in-1 Laptop, Case, Warranty, Accidental Damage Cover & Support).
You can pay for your child’ s Student Device Bundle either in full by credit/debit card, in instalments with our interest-free Olive Payment Plan or through Humm Finance.
A deposit of € 150 is required.
Once a deposit has been paid, the device can be paid off over the next few months.
