Junior Cert Results

Congratulations to all of our students who received their Junior Cert results recently; we are thrilled for you. We are very proud of each and every one of you. A sincere thanks to all of your teachers, who guided and advised you throughout the whole Junior Cycle.

Frozen Jr. Success

Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s school show, Frozen Jr. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did. Well done to our entire cast on all of the hard work and dedication over the last six weeks. We will miss the songs echoing through our corridors. The biggest congratulations of all to our production team, in particular, Ms Patricia McElgunn, Mr Patrick Conlon, Ms Bríd Wallace, Ms Dearbhla Neville and Donal Taylor for their trojan work. Without you all, it simply would not have been possible. The girls have made special lifelong memories from this amazing experience. A big ‘Thank You’ to all of our sponsors, raffle prize donors and our patrons – your support is truly appreciated. We are looking forward to next year already…..but for the moment, “Let it Go”! Míle buíochas daoibh go léir.

Congratulations to Taylor O’Neill from our ‘Dúnchaoin’ class, who won a gold medal in Taekwondo the weekend before last. Well done, Taylor, we are very proud of you.

Hockey Blitz

Well done to our twenty four 1st Years who participated in a 1st year hockey blitz in the Ursuline recently. A great day was had by all. Many thanks to their coaches, Ms Kora Kerrane and Ms Marie Flanagan, for giving them this early opportunity to experience competition in their sport.

Junior Football

Congratulations to our Junior footballers who had a thrilling victory over schools’ football kingpins, John the Baptist (Hospital), by a score line of 8-10 to 6-10 in the opening round of the Munster A championship. A special thanks to Moycarkey-Borris GAA for the use of their wonderful facilities.

World Mental Health Day

To mark World Mental Health day and in the spirit of inclusion, N. Ciarán 5th Year religion class, with their teacher Ms Susan McGee, Year Head Ms Fiona Mulcahy, and Wellbeing Co-Ordinator Ms Eimear Harrold, organised a mixer coffee morning for all 5th Year students.
