Staff

The Staff of Presentation Secondary School, Thurles are a dedicated, hardworking team, committed to preparing each student to fulfil their potential in a kind and caring environment.

Student Council

Each year group elects two representatives on to the Student Council. The Council represents the views of the student body and is a channel of communication between students and staff. It allows students to become actively involved within the school community and develops a sense of belonging and of responsibility. Opportunities for leadership are provided through the organisation of events within the school and the promotion of worthwhile causes in the wider community.

Board of Management

Comprises of Chairperson, Secretary, Trustee representatives, two Parent representatives and two Teachers representatives.

Parents Concil

The Principal and staff welcome the support and interest of all parents. Our School community revolves around the partnership of students, teachers and parents. Co-operation between these three groups ensures a successful school. Parent/Teacher meetings, an active Parents Council, a school newsletter and twice yearly school reports are some of the ways in which home school links are maintained.
