The Presentation has a long tradition in academic excellence and each year Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students continue to keep up this high standard with their excellent results. The Leaving Certs of 2009 were very pleased with their results and have taken up a diversity of college placements and employment.
Carmel Kennedy – Leaving Certificate Student 2009 was awarded an Entrance Scholarship to Trinity College, Dublin (600 points). Carmel is now studying medicine.
Orlaith Fitzgerald amassed a maximum 600 points and was awarded a UCD entrance scholarship. She is now studying Diagnostic Radiography.
Andrea Lynch was presented with an Achievement Award in UCD and is studying Veterinary Science.
Anne Marie Lanigan was among the few students who obtained the highest marks in German, in Junior Certificate 2007.
Mairead Ryan, was selected to take part in the National Science Olympiad because of her excellent Junior Cert Science results. Mairead took part in “Early University Entrance” at Dublin City University, a programme for Transition Year students with exceptional academic ability.
